Manchester, New Hampshire

Manchester

Manchester New Hampshire is the largest city in NH. It is the economic and cultural center for the state of New Hampshire.   There are over 10,000 college students in the city.   College campuses include Southern New Hampshire University, The University of New Hampshire – Manchester, the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy, Manchester Community College as well as Saint Anselm College.

Concord, New Hampshire

Concord

Concord New Hampshire is the capitol city of New Hampshire and a great place to call home.  It is located about 15 miles North of Manchester and about 67 miles North of Boston. With the great skiing and lakes in the White Mountains an hour to the North and the Atlantic Ocean beaches an hour to the East, Concord is at the center of all fun things to do in New Hampshire. This idyllic small city features many interesting things to do at the Capitol Center for the Arts, the McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center and the many city parks and walking trails.  There is a vibrant downtown community with many restaurants and shopping.

Derry

Derry is unique because it is the largest town (not a city) in Rockingham County.  The downtown is a lively gathering spot for those who like restaurants and a small town feel.  Derry is part of the State wide bike trails system in the state.  Derry NH is home to Pinkerton Academy. The Robert Frost Farm is located in Derry and there are golf courses, shops and restaurants in town.   This town is ten miles to Manchester and I93 is easily accessible for commuting to Boston. 

Nashua, New Hampshire

Nashua

Nashua is known as the Gate City as it borders Massachusetts. It’s just about 47 miles North of Boston.  Nashua has a growing population and a Main Street initiative with new restaurants and shops.  A new Center for the Arts will bring world class music and theatre productions to the city.  College campuses account for approximately 8,000 students.  These include Rivier University, Thomas Moore College of Liberal Arts, The Nashua Community College and St Joseph School of Nursing.  City parks, the historic Holman Stadium and Mines Falls Park make the Gate City a great place for outdoor activities and nature lovers.
